What is the real destination?
Where do they think there is to go?
Me:
On and on I ask myself the same question:
“Where do they think there is to go?”…
I made the experiment of asking people. More often than not, the response is always evasive…
“I will do this and that”…they say.
“And you have done “this and that what then…?” I usually ask in return..
Tacitly you feel that you kind of disturb their natural course,
they give you a kind of aggressive and hostile glance…making you feel ridiculous and
stupid, for posing such superfluous question.
Eventually, if you have have some common sense left, inevitably the natural answer
would be:
This Present Moment is the destination..
But, again, we fear knowing this, as running away in the future is running away from fear now…
For better or worse, the whole civilization is based on Fear of Now.

About julienmatei
I feel un inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced.
These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity...
Due to fear and prejudice we prefere to see only "the offcial " truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give...
We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or...we can take the trouble to LIVE...
THE NEW has no definition yet...
Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blogg is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation...finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness..
I also think there is the residual of Church teaching that promised a better future in “heaven”, which was actually used a a control mechanism whilst the people were alive, to prevent them rising up against injustice. So lots of people now have “inherited” this notion of the promise of better/reward/ to come, at some vague point in a future, completely missing the pont of the now and the living it. Even politicians are always saying times are tough now but it will get better, etc, and of course nothing changes! Just control mechanisms. What a cynic I appear to be!
Well, in that case I am a cynic as well
as I completely agree with you.
The inisidious mechanism is
“Give me your life now, in exchange for my idiotic reward which will never come”
Also, I think if people understood a little more of quantum physics they would begin to see the inter relations and that dimensional existence is the norm, we exist at all times, everywhere. This fear of death must be gotten over first I think for people to really start to live. I am certainly no scientist! but it is blindingly obvious when one looks at that.
I m no scientist either but one thing I know for sure is that fear of Death is intrinsically fear of Living, that is, – fear of losing “the known”.
When you really liveside by side with the Unknown, there is no place for fear.
Again: fear is unlived life…
