True answers come swiftly when all questions are silenced

The stranger is you

The answers you so badly crave for,
may be given by the stranger next to you.

Will you avoid his gift,
or will you take the risk to hear…?

There is no answer to get unless you asked in advance

heartflow2013:

Sometimes I wonder about what I put out on these “blogs” – but then I end up trusting that the right ones will find what is for them – the others will pass by unaware…

Me:

I was thinking about this earlier tonight:

There is no answer for the one who doesn´t ask.
The ones who “see”, are the ones who DARE to pose (appropriate) questions, and these
are the people we write and eagerly address to…

I take it again: unless you question there is no answer to get…

The questionless will pass unaware…

A meaningful dialogue about disappoinment

Me:

Can we see our own incongruence and hidden hypocrisy?…

She:

Julien – I believe some of us do, yes. Although perhaps not all the time, or maybe when we look back we recognize our hypocrisies. Are any of us not guilty of hypocrisies at one time or another? It’s a matter of getting out of our own way to let ourselves “see” others around us I suppose. Although the post was specifically stating my disappointment with those who deem it necessary to shout to the world their specific beliefs, while ignoring humanity around them, it is also true we are all guilty of one type of hypocrisy or another….

And what do you think?

Me:

I wish I had a simple answer.

I will not indulge in philosophical non-sense, I will just ask:

WHAT IS DISAPPOINTMENT…? Why do we get disappointed…?

Can we open-mindedly delve into these questions with earnest willingness ? Cause behind these questions lies the answer which can give us unexpected perspective on ourselves.

What ideas or beliefs of mine are at stake when I get disappointed by other´s behaviour?… My expectations are harmed, isn´t it so…?
Why do I hold any kind of expectation? Because if I didn´t have myself certain beliefs, I wouldn´t have any expectations, would I?

What is belief at the end of the day? An idea, of course – an idea with which we identify, in order to feel safe. I protect my ego through idea, I derive my sense of safety through that specific belief…

I ask again:
If we had no belief to hold to, would we ever feel disappointed?

What DO WE IGNORE REALLY within and around us when we hold whatever belief…?

A short dialogue

He said:

“I am afraid I do not have much of an answer for these questions at the moment, but I will try to reflect upon these in the near future.”

Me:

I have found satisfying answers to different questions, but I still keep asking those questions till  I get even more exhaustive answers.

The main idea is not trying to give answers yet, as the answers will emerge gradually as we linger and embrace these searing questions without resistance.

About sorrow and fear of living

The deep sorrow we many times feel, stems from not giving the right answers to Life. Life is a constant challenge second by second, and when we give “wrong” answers to the impending challenges, sorrow is there right away. Sorrow notifies us about something being wrong – wrong  answers to real events. There is something within us that still doesn´t receive the right attention and interest. Something  that has to do with repressed emotions.

We feel unfulfilled as long as we don´t live – don´t feel… – this is the real issue…But how can we live and embrace certain emotions, when we don´t know how to do it, when we have learned to fear our feelings?
Here comes what I find most important, the thing I always stress: we have to bring everything into NOW, we have to bring forth our repressed emotions and consider them with most searing sincerity.

We have to learn to confront this very moment…If we want to know what Life is about, we have to empty our mind second by second, we have to learn how to let go of the constant mental activity, and approach existence more emotionally.

Without us being aware of this, we deprive ourselves of certain emotional experiences our soul yearns for, because of fear to experience loss and sorrow, ultimately fearing Death.

We can be already most lucid persons, yet…certain basic things escape us.

Try to follow me on this:

This present moment, – NOW – is timeless, that is, transcendent. It is both personal and impersonal, and so is the serene heart – it dwells into these realms, it is beyond opposites.  Despite our great insights, we are fooled by the ego who fears this ineffable serenity, and deters us from perceiving it.

The ego can function only within the spectrum of the opposites. It loathes timelessness, as timelessness and serenity is its death. This timeless glimpse which is this present moment, is our real abode – we can only know this through the heart. If we are out of touch with Now, we get immediately caught in longing, in sorrow, in the ego´s grieving song.

Thus, only when we are wholly in touch with Now, – the “eternal now” of the heart – when we live this as an immediate reality, delusion and fear disappear.

And so does time, sorrow and resentment.
