This is a fragment of the mail correspondence I had with the film director mentioned in the first post “Stockholm, Budapest, Romania”
“Haha, Laszlo, it is almost too much….!!!!” he writes.
“Fantastic that he called you the day after, it is really unbelievable”.
After he read my post about Reidar he asks me:
“IS THIS FOR REAL, REIDAR AND EVERYTHING…?”
Here it is what I have just responded him :
The story of Reidar yes, unfortunately, ”it is for real” …
I say “unfortunately” because I understand more and more that all existence is governed by strange forces and unfathomable connections. Luck plays a crucial role, and the seemingly arbitrary occurrences determine the course of our Life.
Best illustration is last Monday when we first met, Laszlo day after, and what happened after the encounter with him, - something even more unbelievable, I may write about later - clearly demonstrates this:
The bad news is that the things we´ve been working hard to develop – logic, skill, common sense, discipline – are important, but in the current perspective,
secondary and irrelevant.
Maybe it’s good that this is so - I could never suffer from hubris.
In summary, when you let the ”odd things” control,
Life gets very exciting and fun.
