The tyranny of stupidity

It is pure torture to have to give normal answers to normal idiots.

When talking to fools – and alas, they are not few…- you don´t know how to deal with them. You don´t know whether it is better to behave or misbehave, to joke or be “serious”, talk or shut up, really…you can neither be yourself nor not be yourself…

They turn everything upside down, never allowing a natural flow…You feel that whatever you say is misinterpreted, misjudged, rejected or ridiculed…

You kind of feel the other´s restlessness and insecurity, your mere presence taking your interlocutor out of his stereotypes, and although you haven´t said a big thing, out of the blue you find him hating you for destroying his petty comfort zone…

Really, stupidity is hell…

Stupidity has no humour, it is aggressive and huffy.
STUPIDITY HATES INTELLIGENCE….- the unexpected intelligent answer is a terrible threat for the imbeciles.

“Over here we deal with `normality´, they say tacitly, “we are not interested in `different´ or `interesting´ points of view, talent and lucidity makes us feel uncomfortable and insecure. We are ready-made, dull and predictable. HOW DARE YOU INTERFERE WITH OUR DISTORTED OUTLOOK ON LIFE? Our virtue here is lie and narrow-mindedness, so either you are with us, obeying and respecting our meanness, or we will ensure to eliminate you”.

Our beautiful age: the tyranny of stupidity.

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.
