A worth considering comment

I do think there are certainly people who are too afraid to face either their own demons, or the demons of the world, and so they choose to blind and numb themselves … that is true misery, because you actually KNOW you made such a decision, deep down.

I truly believe though that the majority of people simply don’t know that life can be different. I look at how I was raised, and there was no person saying such things to me … I was one of those “annoying people” who always had questions that couldn’t be answered with philosophical fluff … And as a consequence I went on my own spiritual quest that led to where I am now. However … I am of the opinion that the majority is blind because their eyes have never been opened.

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

I agree. Denial, seeking numbness, repression, running away from one’s sense of self- these are all great and terrible afflictions of our time.

    Keep “annoying” us, Julien.

      Indeed Tom,

Running away from one´s self…isn´t this pure neurosis?…To refuse, to keep questions away…

I will do my best to annoy but also caress 🙂

      Thank you again
