To Live Is To Know

Most people are afraid of life.

Always choosing out of fear – which they call necessity -, they never find their real vocation. They never learn anything for real.

If they did, they wouldn´t be so poor inside, so greedy, so haunted, so remarkably stingy and self-centered.

When you really live and trust life – that is, when you have done away with fear – you know and you find. Real knowledge gives you a sense of peace, of certainty, of ease, indeed, of contentment.

Inner contentment makes you generous.

ONLY TRUE KNOWLEDGE MAKES YOU OPEN AND GIVING.

Says Terence McKenna

“You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do, is to bring back a new idea, because our world is in danger by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness. And so to whatever degree any one of us, can bring back a small piece of the picture and contribute it to the building of the new paradigm, then we participate in the redemption of the human spirit, and that after all it what it’s really all about.”

Estrangement…from our secret “I”

I find myself many times confused and rather estranged having no clue what the next step is.

In those moments of inner confusion and turmoil, I may look through the things written in my blog, realizing with amazement that I GAVE MYSELF ANSWERS earlier, but first now I am able to “digest” them.

Stephanie Jill Rudd:
Oh I so like this. There are so many things I resonate with. Especially the estrangement and the difficulty in expressing…finding words to describe what comes to us as a whole sense sensation and not just words is soooo difficult!! I also find it takes me time to understand what I have written many years before…its like time has to unfurl and then the “me” catches up with it!

Me:
That´s the right word: estrangement…Estrangement from the one we really are.

Isn´t it so…?
Everything is a constant surprise, but the biggest one is the moment when you “catch up” with yourself, as if some parts of you knew, before you realize you know.

This uncontrollable “I” is the best part of me.

If we had the readiness to understand more of this unaccountable inner process…Indeed, those ineffable parts of our psyche which function outside time and space…
That autonomous part in me has its own ways, and I confess, it baffles me invariably.

Alas, the limited cannot understand the limitless, likewise, we cannot approach the unfathomable with the fathomable – that´s the difficult part. If we want to know anything valuable. we have to be willing to empty ourselves of whatever we think we know…

Such a paradox attempting to put in words something it really doesn´t lend itself to verbalization…

Yet…we try.

A great quote

“In a mad world, only the mad are sane.”
-Akiro Kurosawa

If you are ashamed of your emotions you let society destroy your reality

People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all.
PEOPLE TALK ABOUT HOW GREAT LOVE IS, BUT THAT´S BULLSHIT.

Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.”

Jim Morrison

Stop fleeing your emotions

This is an excerpt from an earlier post of mine:

“WHY ARE WE AFRAID TO FEEL? WHY DOES REAL PASSION SCARE US ? WHY ARE WE AFRAID AND ASHAMED TO LIVE AND SHOW OUR REAL EMOTIONS?

Why are we systematically avoiding these questions?”

Even if it feels awkward, could we discuss this together?

Oftentimes I feel awkwardly confused as to the significance of certain VITAL AND IMPENDING QUESTIONS – like the ones above – that no one seems to see or care about.

As no one is interested to seriously approach these matters, I feel often awfully bewildered, doubting if I am onto something, or if I am another peer of those indulging in senseless illusion. It is hellishly lonely to see A Truth, that apparently is deliberately well-hidden and everybody refuses to admit.

Even more “spiritually educated people” claiming to be “truth seekers” fall victims of their grandiloquent philosophical crap, failing to ascribe importance to certain burning realities, so I seem to be the only one seeing and raising obvious inconvenient questions that, I repeat, nobody cares to consider or admit.

It is so: people refuse to see reality in the eye, and the one who dares say the plain truth, is considered a fool or an loony excentric.

But as it happens, Fate has its ways, and out of the blue, sometimes I bump into something which
CONFIRMS THAT I WAS “RIGHT” VERSUS THE WHOLE PRESENT MENDACIOUS AGE, INDULGING IN CONVENIENT LIES.

Although I am not a fan of Jim Morrison´s music, his following quote gives me comfort, justly illustrating that I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE SEEN THINGS AS THEY ARE:

“People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all.

So, wherever you are, THANK YOU Jim Morrison for having said these words, making my loneliness less unbearable!

Inner fatigue

Thoughts are tiresome.

Heavy.

Words likewise.

No purpose left.

Reading or writing?…

Even a single Letter

Feels too much.

I am trapped

In the Destiny

Of a Breath

Yes

Logic hurts.

Being stuck hurts.

Silence hurts too.

Even this Absence

Feels

Superfluous.

So wise and true words here:

RELEARN WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHAT YOU WANT!

Valarie Lovelight

One of the hardest things for us to be is ourselves even if we don’t realize it. I’ve been a lot of things over the years to people, nothing bad just not good for me. There is nothing wrong with pleasing people and helping out as long as you’re not neglecting, settling and ignoring your own needs. This was me. My needs were important but they could wait. I had plans and goals and they would eventually be done after I helped someone else achieve theirs.

What can I say, I’m a giver and a helper but at some point I became burnt out and despondent to my needs. I had put them off for so long, I forgot about them or convinced myself they weren’t that important. Wrong. They mattered and were important because I was/am.

Funny, I had to relearn what I liked and what I wanted.  I…

The greatest challenge

Really, life in today-world has become a living hell.

Chaos, stupidity, conflict at all levels, neurosis, inner and outer disorder, psychic discomfort, unspeakable inner turmoil, spiritual and material shortage, greed and stinginess, ugliness of the worst kind taken for beauty, mendacity, hypocrisy and pretense, hollowness, absence of sense.

What is worst, is the blatant absence of genuine relation, total disinterest for the other, indifference to “whatever is not mine”, indeed, MAN HAS BECOME TOTALLY AUTISTIC.

It is hopeless: whatever you do, you feel you cannot reach the other, nothing impresses, no matter how articulate, skilful or subtle you are.

What is conspicuous, is that Emotion has become taboo.

As Life is Emotion, it is obvious that MAN WANTS TO BE DEAD.

“Death is my virtue, I don´t want to feel, I want to be numb, left alone. If you interfere and dare make me feel, awake my conscience, I´ll severely punish you”, that´s the tacit message.

All this stuff that humanity is on the verge of great transformation is kindergarten story.
Unsubstantiated New Age gibberish for gullible fools.

Let´s face it: IT IS BAD.

Yet!

When you have the guts to dispassionately see and admit how things really are, when you lucidly grasp that Man is nowadays morally and spiritually bankrupt and insane, then and only then, you can be ready for A REAL CHANGE.

You realize that you are ready to give up any sense of man-made authority. That means that DESPITE the bankruptcy of this distressed age, you can see THROUGH and BEYOND.

To see “through and beyond” means to have the guts of facing and assuming this factual state, leaving behind “humanity” and accepting your loneliness, and establish A REAL RELATION TO INEFFABLE SELF.

TO ONENESS.

Oneness is beyond belief, conformity or authority.
Oneness is your courage to give up your false humanity.

TO BE FREE IS TO SACRIFICE YOUR FALSITY!!

Yes, once you have established a veritable relation with “the Unutterable”,
YOU CAN BE HAPPY DESPITE THE WRETCHEDNESS OF THIS WORLD.

In this imperishable relation to Self, even if this world would fall apart, you would still remain unaffected, composed and well.
