Doing nothing – the greatest liberation

Doing nothing is man´s worst fear.

It is the death of contraries,
for man, the hardest thing to grasp.

Doing nothing, as it is not the contrary of anything,
has nothing to do with idleness.

It is pure inaction.

“Dwelling” in Inaction entails great courage – the courage of
directly confronting Fear.

Having no contrary to escape in, fear dissipates.

This process is horrendous,
but if you don´t flee in fear to see Fear,
you are the winner of it all.

I can promise you that.

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

Hey, I hadn’t seen this. We must be on the same wavelength this week 🙂

As no one really approaches Reality this way, I feel many times insecure as to whether what I write is “true” or not.

I am glad that you too, took up this subject. “When you don´t know what to do, do nothing”. I thank you for quoting your friend here…

It means after all that I am not so “wrong” as one might think 😉

      • Joy is now says:

I think you would agree that there is no such thing as right or wrong, Julien. It is all one and it is what it all is

      • julienmatei says:

Emma, please read what I just wrote to Yaz!

It is as you say: it is all one and it is what it all is.

Concerning right and wrong, it is also a paradox.

Initially there is no Right or Wrong.

As you preceed in life, there is Right and Wrong

But finally you come back to the initial point where There is no Right or Wrong 😉

  3. Yaz says:

Deeply meaningful words, Julien. If we can learn to exert no effort whatsoever, we will finally be free.

    • julienmatei says:

Thanks for your kind feedback Yaz!

Inaction is the Here with no “There”…
First when one has the courage to “dwell in total inaction”, there is the chance of realizing the hardest and most paradoxical thing for man to grasp:

Nothing exists except THIS VERY SECOND. This second is beyond Duality,
      beyond knowledge, beyond concept.

This second is eternally free, meaning that WE ARE FREE NOW.

We fail to understand this , as we are used to think in terms of effort.
But Effort exists as long as there is the illusion of distance, separation, of becoming…

Indeed when the illusion of “after” or “before” is gone, we realize with awe that The Second comprises “everything there is”, and realizing this, effort as such becomes superfluous.

WE ARE NOW!! as Now knows no contrary in time or space. 🙂

THERE IS NOWHERE TO GO…BUT IN THIS BLESSED “HERE”
