What is there to do?

I came across this quote:

“We need to establish a global conversation and rational thought process
in order to ensure that society can stay on track.”

This is exactly the thing I also highlight with this so-called blog of mine:
The necessity of lucid dialogue.

As he puts it, “a global conversation.”

For sure, that´s exactly the issue:

At least in this country where I live – Sweden – and for that matter elsewhere
too, people are totally reluctant to engage in any communication in-depth.

Everything essential is considered taboo…Overarching wisdom and a critical approach
are considered anarchic here…

I wrote in a short post that “People understand all right, but are afraid to admit
they understand.

They all see, but once you open your mouth you are usually dismissed or laughed at…

So how do you go about if you want to initiate a fruitful debate?…

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

There is nothing to Do. Drop that question.
The question is made up by a mind.
You – dont exist, or do you?
Do you know how wast space is?
Are you mind? Because the definition of emptiness is that it doesn’t contain.
You will argue. Mind will create a defence.

You keep talking and keep talking and keep talking until another listens, and responds… and you both keep talking and keep talking until another listens, and responds…
And so, maybe one person at a time, a paradigm shift occurs.

I hear you Julien… and you know that I felt the same when I was living in Stockholm… For us, people from the much more alive parts of Europe, it can be really a long-lasting cultural shock to be in Sweden (or perhaps, generally in Scandinavia).

There is not much to do to change the mentality, the communication and other habits of Swedish people – they are like how they are like, and that’s what they are used to. That’s comfortable for them.

I think the only solution is: Love it or leave it.

We have a great Hungarian poet, Laszlo Nagy, who wrote a very powerful poem which starts with:
“Let’s go there where we are needed,
Where it is a joy for us to be”

I will be so happy to meet you again – let me know please when you come and visit my Bermuda Triangle of Budapest-Prague-Vienna.
