Expectations lost…Dreams forgotten

Andrea:
There’s something so important in the notion of losing expectations,
and forgetting dreams. How can we possibly expect to live a dream if we haven’t
discovered how to live?… Doesn’t it seem silly to you?

We promote this way of living all to often “What’s your dream job”, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Allowing people to center, to arrive, to their true being; not the far off, foggy wish that
has largely been tainted with societies expectations of what a dream should look like.”

Me:
Indeed, how can we possibly expect to live a dream if we haven’t discovered
how to live now?…

Haven´t we all been taught to live “later”?…-To have dreams, to live, as you say, in the
far off,
to do anything in our might to sell this moment for an empty promise…so immensely sad.

Such terrible waste of life…

To allow oneself to arive in this present moment: that´s Wisodm. That is Love.

I for one go through the tough lesson of “arresting” becoming. To withdraw from the absence offered to me by everybody. To come “back” to myself the way that I am and was, but wasn´t allowed to…There is deep sorrow in that, but I assume this if I want to really recover from this sickness of living in the “nowhere´s land”.

So it is: it is imperative to start focusing on what we are right now – on what
we feel we need to express in this moment – what would bring us ultimate joy.

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

Your words are really helping me to build myself. Thank you.

It is indeed great to hear that.

I am curious to know your source of inspiration, if I may.

      • julienmatei says:

My Self….mainly. Don´t confuse it with “myself” 😉

Then, certainly: true and genuine dialogues…great encounters… trigger largely my creativity. All my great artistic endeavours are actually a direct outcome of a close meeting with life through and together with another person.

My blog is called Mirrors of Encounters as a way of pointing to that.

Nice to hear that. What else can be the ultimate source other than Self? How all this manifestations to know thySelf? Wonder!

      • julienmatei says:

        That´s it: Wonder.

You see, to be honest, I can take more inspiration from watching a sparrow, or from observing in great detail all the shades of light and shadow, than being together with people…It is sad, because true togetherness with others is a blessed thing…

Unfortunately, people here in the West deliberately lead a boring and terribly shallow life, keeping at due distance anything that reminds them of a truly lived life…

Life is a wonder, but they simply discard this simple but overarching truth…

How that is possible, why they refuse to be moved and be alive is actually the question I ponder on most…

You maybe can give me your opinion on that…

      • Aniketan K says:

In my opinion, it is obvious. Power of inertia. Being afraid of change naturally like a stone. It takes a lot of time to mould an iron than to mould a clay. This is where I believe in previous births. We might also have taken a numerous births like them for transition from gross to subtle.

But however we completely do not accept darwin’s theory of evolution though, for he believes it as a linear process. Our scriptures tells its a circle and can never be linear. It introduces ‘KARMA’ the actions of doership. Ex: Hitler can be born as a dog for his next few lives. And so are we.
