You are already doing that

Please, consider this:

I am sitting writing these very words. Now…- if I said “oh, how I wish to sit down and write”, while I am actually doing just that, you may wonder as to my being entirely sane…

And yet…that´s what people do.

“Everybody lives tomorrow or yesterday and never now…! I so long for a Now.”- she said.

“When you say everybody”- I replied – “you mean yourself. How on earth can you long for a now, when you undeniably are immersed in this Now? Only the person feeling disengaged from life wants `to live´. If you say, `I am going to live now´, you will resist and push away this present moment even more.”

We are always prone to create a gap between us and the very thing we strive for. This very gap is Desire – that is, Time, which is Fear, which is Pain, insecurity, insufficiency and frustration, which is doubt…which is fragmentation. Which ultimately is distance from ourselves.

We think we are Absence. Absence striving to Presence…and in this uncanny process of striving, we create nothing but even more absence…more havoc…more infelicity.

So don´t wish to read these lines – you are already doing that!

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

Ahhhhh mon ami, slipping back towards “be here now” territory

      No…it´s about un-doing…;)

      I said this before:

I write now to Stephen, but if I say this in words, I am creating a distance both to you and to what I do…

What is, – Life, who we are – needs no approval…;)needs no effort…no thought…- as it beyond yes and no…

For the record, Erik Satie and Constantin Brancusi – check their names if you never heard of them – were very good friends…

Both of them were both great artists.

Whenver they met, they spoke about God knows what, but never about art…:)

it’s almost like anything else, if we ‘speak’ of it as if ‘it’s’ our reason for life, the definition of our existence, then we are belittling both ‘it’ and ourselves ‘life’ as defined by ‘us’ is ‘lived’ not explained – we are who we are defined not by others, but by . . .

googling them as we speak (if we are in fact ‘speaking’)

        You formulated this big time.

This is meaningful communication: finding different angles of the same thing.

compliments? no, discussion, even thru the confinement of the ‘net’ is still valued – at least here – far more than stilted silence

      • julienmatei says:

I never compliment because our worth is beyond…and thus can not be questioned…

I am fascinated though by reciprocal inspiration and participation….

      • wsj2day says:

somehow I knew compliments (regarded as rubbish in this corner) were not being placed on offer – thankfully – inspiration comes from within – as you bloody well known – participation simply happens from the thought of what horrors would ensue if not
