About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced.
These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity...
Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give...
We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE...
THE NEW has no definition yet...
Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.
Lots to embrace and discuss with this post. “Truth” will always change as perception changes. Perception opens up when the mind is at ease. It seems like everything I was thought about truth does not hold to be true anymore. I also see that ones person’s truth is never exactly the same as another. This is because each of us perceive differently. The only thing true that I know is that Life is “change”. Our consciousness is expanding, technology has exponentially sky rocketed. I would agree with you, THE NEW has no definition yet. As our consciousness expands, how would this change technology? As our consciousness expands, how would we relate to each other? All the rules (or truths) about relationships, loving and living as a whole would change. I am open to letting go, observing and participating in the change. IT has expanding our means of connecting to each other almost instantly. I think with expanded consciousness, we would have instant and crystal clear communications with each other too.
Love this post, thank you Julien.
Salma,
So it is: The right perception opens up when the mind is at ease.
Cause only when the mind is is at ease – that is, only when it is free from ideas – can it experience something directly, without postponment…
Otherwise, if we are caught in ideas – one person’s truth versus another one´s – that will bring us nowhere. Verbalization is, as you already know, quite pointless and futile.
The New is awareness with no name. It is to courage of letting go of the known – that is, of name and current ideas…It is courage to inquire beyond the old thought patterns.
So the question is again: What is this perception freed from all ideas…? 🙂
Could it be simply Love…?
Julien here are two truths that resonates with the truth in my heart and I is related to your post – one is to do with perception and the other to do with love:
1) Aldous Huxley
“Experience is not what happens to you – it’s how you interpret what happens to you.”
2) “Nothing appears to be something. The human experience is a sensory organ for the divine self. Through these eyes, the divine gets to see itself in form.”
“As you peel it back, in the heart of nothing, that is love. You are what you are seeking. Life is a set up so that each of us can actually see in ourselves the truth for ourselves. What gets taken away are all the exterior means we thought we wanted love to come to us. You have the choice to notice the perfect set up to see love is exactly what you are.”
“Only when the pursuit ceases, is it possible to recognize what comprises you: pure being.”
Yes, love it is, flowing through us in the present moment….. such awareness 🙂
“Only when the pursuit ceases, is it possible to recognize what comprises you: pure being.”
The cessation of pursuit outwardly is reasonably easy. The hard part is the cessation of pursuit inwardly – so to say, to “arrest” thinking…
We have to follow the process step by step in greatest attention…I am sure you are acquainted with the unending inner chatter in your head. That cannot be stopped by a deliberate act, because that “authority” trying to put an end to a thought, is, another thought. Hope you can see what I mean, because it is either very easy or utterly complicated…
We have to come to that point where thought must come to an end. I say again: NOT MADE COME TO AN END. Thinking is inertia, and if not given enough fuel, at some point it does stop by itself.
The greatest issue here is that no book, no guru, nothing and no one, can ever help us in this process. We have to proceed in this undertaking step by step in greatest vigilance…
When thought stops, begins self-knowledge. And self-knowledge is awareness – that is, instant after instant in intimate relation.
This intimate movement released from thinking is self-awareness…Life-awareness…- what we usually call “LOVE” 🙂
