Sensuality is holy

The thing is that Christianity through immemorial times has split sensuality from holiness. This is the greatest wound It has inflicted on us.Turning desire and passion into guilt and shame, has affected us more than we can ever imagine.

The great disparity within us, is the direct consequence of us not being allowed to know and live our passion, but instead, fear it.

But PASSION IS EVERYTHING.

Passion is energy. Passion is Life itself.

Let´s rid ourselves for once of these monstrous precepts, made by these spiritual assassins.

To get to know your passion, is to know yourself. Dare therefore explore your genuine emotion, without fear or resentment!

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

Song of Songs is a pretty hot book. “Drinking the juices of her palmgranet” would be an interesting sermon title. 🙂 I agree that passion has been smothered in the faith. But the whole thing is an epic romance ending with jesus drinking wine again and the final consumation of the bride and groom. Good work!

Thank you Platogroove. God damn it, i can´t live in restraint anymore. I am virtually imploding and exploding…thereof my writing now.

This book Song of Songs, what is it? Has it any connection with the Bible?

      Regards,

Yes it is in the old testament right after proverbs. It is a sensual love poem between the bride to be and the groom.

        I found it. Thanks

What you speak of is the source of much of the earlier poetry on my blog.

I am looking forward to checking your poetry. I´ll do this tonight. Tell me pls, do you use Facebook?

      • platosgroove says:

Yes. Email me at platosgroove.com I will give you my personal fb if you like. There are a couple short stories under Stories that may be of interest. The Pool which was an attempt to describe my initial experience with this and The Princess and the Dragonfly which is a little more complete attempt at the physical/spiritual epic romance. Everything else can be traced back to those basic ideas. Good journey! Plato

YES. I had an insight last night after my first meeting with the group “Turn On” a part of the One Taste, Oming (Orgasmic Meditation). Not sure if its active over there. Check out FB and YouTube. The insight is: “I’m going to marry my spirituality with my sexuality” They will no longer be antagonists but supportive partners in the Whole-yness of my life. This is the culmination of many, many years of living in guilt and shame around my sexuality.

      Lightrays,

So incredibly timely. So valuable feed-back. Especially that this insight occured just last night.
Sounds truly inspiring “I’m going to marry my spirituality with my sexuality”. Sexuality is and can be by far the most initiatic way into the mystery of life.

And those crazy bastards of priests have wounded us so deeply…and deprived us of this deep knowledge that our forefathers had acces to…

      Wholeness yes…

I am so grateful for what you are telling me…Let´s rid ourseleves once and for all of these demons:
      Guilt and Shame – the ego´s nighmare…
