Dusk

Waiting for nothing
Desiring nothing
I hear no one
But the endless skies
pouring gently in my chest…

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

      The greatst paradox:

Desiring nothing makes Desires comes true,,,

But Julien, if I desire nothing then Who’s desires are really coming true?

      • julienmatei says:

        Life´s highest desire/s for you…

A huge difference – if any comparison can be made at all… – between what we term as “human desire” and “Life´s desire”.

If I am to elaborate a little, our desires are obviously a compensation for our pain, for our longing.

Your question is therefore very wise, cause desire is identity and identification. The I´s way of both escaping and enhancing itself thru pleasure…Pleasure which is the other side of pain…

Obviously, the “Divine Desire” is not a compensation of pain, of longing, but a great fulfillment as it goes beyond pain and pleasure….Beyond the I and its fear of being or not being…

This is the nearest answer I can come up with…

Thank you Julien. Your answer is very insightful. The key to letting go of human desire would be to let go of “I”. Very few people have accomplished letting go of ego.
