Normality is insanity

So you understand what they defend when
they so painstakingly attempt to be normal.

About julienmatei
I feel an inner urge to express what I see, to communicate and share with others all these impressions. Often the things I see are there, not yet manifest, but waiting... to be observed, talked about, and embraced. These new insights need another approach, a more vivid curiosity... Due to fear and prejudice we prefer to see only "the official" truth - but THE OFFICIAL TRUTH IS DEAD - being dead, it has nothing to give... We can continue pretending Death is fascinating or... we can take the trouble to LIVE... THE NEW has no definition yet... Again, IT requires another "perception", the courage to apprehend everything differently, from a totally new angle, with new confidence and inquisitive touch. This blog is not about interesting concepts, it is about participation... finding new solutions, inspiration, togetherness.

They’ll kill you in defending the lunacy 😉 Who was it who said “Be with them but not of them”?

    • julienmatei says:

“They´ll kill you in defending their lunacy”…Word!…
The metaphorical killing is the worst one, inasmuch as they wipe you out
unless you behave and feel “normally”…That is, if you don´t quash your powerful yearning, and emotions.

      • Michael O.Brien says:

I purposely put ‘the’ rather than ‘their’ as lunacy, or madness, is not something that belongs to a people. If you are going to use ‘their’ then you’ll need to include yourself as part of the lunacy as you are not apart from it. There is no us and them. You are as much a part of ‘the’ lunacy as the next….

      • julienmatei says:

I kind of felt you would say that. I kind of felt too that I quoted you wrong – “their” instead of “the”.

Include or exclude?…I am not sure of either…

There is no us and them, and there is us and them…

I have been part of the lunacy, all right, now I simply cry out my right to be sane. And that, if anything, creates havoc!!!

  2. Michael O.Brien says:

….Don’t forget that whatever you see in others is a self projection…

    • julienmatei says:

Now, is whatever I don´t see in others also a self-projection?

I am not playing with words here at all.

Is there a difference between “the” and “they”?…And as such, is “the” something which exists beyond self-projection?

      • Michael O.Brien says:

How can what you don’t see be a projection? How would you know?
Besides, it is ok by me to ‘play with words’ as it is a form of expression.
Is ‘the’ lunacy something which exists beyond self projection? – Which perspective would you like to take – the objective or subjective?
