You´ll never truly be aware, as long as you are preoccupied with your own importance

The basis of our thinking is craving, which creates the self, and thought expresses itself in worldliness, in possessive love, and in the belief of self-continuity.

What happens to a mind that is occupied with itself and its expressions, consciously or unconsciously? It will limit itself and so give importance to itself. Thought, thus occupied, must engender confusion, conflict, sorrow. Being caught in its own net, it tries to escape into the future or into those activities that assure immediate forgetfulness, the so-called social service, worship of state or person, racial and social antagonism, and so on. Thus thought gets more and more entangled in the net of its own desires and escapes.

As long as thought is preoccupied with its own personal importance and continuity, it is incapable of becoming aware of its own process.

The Fearful Ego – the hidden Entity subminating your life and health

With the risk of being considered some kind of excentric loon, I think it´s ripe time to call things by their true name, unveiling and speaking about an incredibly elusive psychic reality which is at work creating and fueling all our problems including physical and psychical diseases. It is this very reality which ultimately prevents and deprives us of living a fulfilled and meaningful life.

She:
Well, what do I have to lose, except my ego, right?

What you say makes sense to me, but I’m still afraid. I don’t know if this is a task to be undertaken when one’s physical health is bad, or if this is the perfect time to take it because my physical health is bad.

Me:
Don´t be tempted to believe that “losing Ego” is some kind of trifle…Don´t underestimate its enormous power. The “combat” with it is anything but “easy”…- it is in fact an “impossible” undertaking, insofar as it´s an illogical dispute on “life and death”. Meaning that when It lives having us under its command we are dead, and conversely, its death is us being alive.

I told you before that Ego is a very treacherous and very tenacious entity which can easily shape-shift from singularity to plurality – it can be one, but many at the same time. Like the monster with different heads in the fairy tales.

It disposes over an incredible arsenal of guises. It can take over whatever “existing” manifestation, in fact. It is highly unpredictable, popping up when you least expect it. It can be insidiously subtle – inasmuch as we can confuse it with the voice of Self – or unmistakably aggressive, vindictive and mean. Conflict, misery, affliction, chaos and disorder are its most precious characteristics – unpredictably wreaking havoc in every thinkable or unthinkable way.

It loves to punish itself and the host through disease.

As I said before: every form of psychic ailment is its “fabrication” too…- that´s hard
to swallow, as this sounds totally unsubstantiated for any sound and rational person.

Actually, it loves not to be identifiable, it skilfully and insidiously hides behind the curtains in order to maintain control. When you hear all these men of science denying the existence of Evil, be sure that it´s It, claiming it doesn´t exist.

That being said, you thus understand how hellishly difficult it is to identify it.

Unless you have dared look in the depth of depth, this seems to be some kind of gobbledygook of a deluded mind.

THAT IS WHY IT IS SO HARD TO HEAL: you necessarily need to plunge into these unseen levels of being, and there be aware of realities which are at work but everybody denies.

We are so modern…HOW CAN WE EVER DENY WE ARE POSSESSED?….

So now it is about being lucid here.  Sometimes “reasonable” entails dropping mundane logic:

So ask yourself:

Who is afraid within you?… Do you understand that fear is the very tool with which this
parasite of ego manipulates you?…

It is Fear stealing and frustrating you of your energy. Fear giving you all these seemingly
unsolvable health problems. Fear preventing you from truly living and being ardently alive.

You can put an end to this parasite living at your expense, by consciously staying with What is in adamant lucidity, courage and determination.

The skill of looking inside

Something external can be easily ment.

Mending the soul though, is difficult business.

Feelings cannot be ascribed “objective” reality, yet everyone knows that
although invisible, Feeling Is Reality.

As much as inner conflict is. Or suffering.

You don´t see it, yet it exists inside of you.

We are used to live externally.

Thus we don´t know how to commit ourselves to our inner person.
We don´t have the knowledge anymore.
We have neither the patience nor the readiness to see…

Indeed, we have lost the skill of looking inside.

Yet, we have to regain this precious skill of heeding The Inner Man,
in order to retrieve our real life.

Fear of problems, fear of responsibility

I just heard all too many times the same question:

“How”?

“How shall I do it, how shall I find the solution, how shall I proceed? Can you give me an example?”

What they say is with other words:

Can you take the burden off my shoulders, can you release me from my responsibility to find a real sustainable answer for myself? Can you help me forget…?

Well…No one can. Or if they “can”, be sure they will enslave you even more. Cause this is what tradition and dogma is about – to capitalize on your fear to find out Who you are.

In asking “how”, it intrinsically means that we´re afraid of a real confrontation with ourselves, by refusing to stay with the problem; in fact when we don´t see the urgency of it, we want to get rid of it, rushing to another false answer, to a solution which in its turn will generate even more conflict and confusion. Due to this frustration, we end up blaming the neighbour, the wealthy, our poiticians, our gods, the arabs, the jews or whoever. We go from conflict to confusion, and from confusion to another interminable conflict ending up mute and numb stupidly denying everything around us.

We keep forgetting that our unresolved problems create false relation to everything, that ultimately escaping our issues create false authority –  our governments with all its subtle or gross instruments of propaganda and oppression commensurate our fear and lack of responsibility.

Can we see this mechanism clearly? Can we see that everything is our creation?

It is a lonely and strenuous undertaking to face ourselves. There is no real authority there. WE ARE ALONE IN THIS PURSUIT – no Jesus, no Buddha, no one…but You.

Let’s stop looking for consolation outwardly!

When you are hungry, you feel the urgency of your hunger. It doesn´t help that I remind you that you ate yesterday. You have to eat now.

Unless we consider our problems with the same urgency, we will create even more suffering, confusion and an ever more oppressive State.

Challenge your mind

Mind is the outcome of conflict, of resistance. It always wants supremacy, it always wants to be “right”,  whatever it does, is to defend itself, to protect its lies.

The mind hates genuine encounters as its main interest is control. The truth is indigestible for the mind, it always deviates, struggling hard for its illusions.

Mind can never understand Being !

Ultimately it hates Life, because it realizes that Life ever undermines its control and false supremacy.
