Light Without Darkness

She:
I don’t feel ‘darkness’ exists basically. I feel many people use darkness as an excuse not to be responsible and be all they really are.

Me:
Don´t let yourself be fooled: Darkness doesn´t exist, YET IT´S VERY REAL…This world we inhabit is the fabric of Separation. Separation never happened, yet, here we are, as separated bodies…The few Enlightened ones, say all it´s a dream, which, of course it is…But WHAT THEY NEVER TELL YOU IS THIS:

We have all created this World, as an escape from Love, as an escape from Who We Truly Are. This very set up has taken millions – if not billions? – years to bring about. It is a world which seems “distinct” and “other” than God´s Real Version.

A long story short:

The Creator of this world, the Ego or The Demiurge is anything but easily dismissed as something you let go of, just like that…as the shallow New Age writers want us to believe. This Ego is incredibly uncanny, clever, captivating and intriguing yet at the same time ineffably vengeful, bitchy, mischievous, vindictive, yes, totally unforgiving…totally antagonistic to true Love…DIVINE LOVE is its highest menace, its highest nightmare. After all, it has made up a world which is supposed to compete with the True Creation of God, and through suffering, decay and death show God that he – the demiurge – is right…So its only agenda is to obfuscate God and our inherent Light. To keep you caught in Illusion.

You don´t fool around with this villain. It can easily shape-shift from one to many. It disposes over an incredible arsenal of “methods” to keep us confined in darkness. IT SIMPLY DOESN´T WANT US TO LIVE AND BE HAPPY. It is so deeply ingrained in our false being – after all, It is our creation – that he would do anything to prevent us from untangling ourselves from him. Enlightenment – which is to reconnect with pristine Love – is its supreme defeat. But again, enlightenment is such a rare “achievement” which requires an unwavering courage and commitment to confront this Fiddle Master. Look to this wretched world and you will see him at work. Bottom line: It is the one who has invented time, thought, suffering, sorrow, distance, punishment, disease, death. None of these are real…Yet he fiercely wants us to believe they are…After all he is A Mad Idea which popped up eons ago in God´s mind…It is a terrifying Nothing…

Oh, too philosophical

“Philosophy” is the term which denominates all the essential things they refuse to consider.

Union with the Uncreated – healing from Thought and Separation

This is a very interesting dialogue between Michael. K. Marsh and me.

Michel:
We must get away from the idea that death is God’s punishment. Death is a consequence of being created. The created as opposed to the un-created has a beginning and an end.

The healing of this condition is union with the uncreated. We do not have life in and of ourselves. To turn away from the work of union with the divine/uncreated is sin. Thus the wages of sin is death.

I think this fits with scripture and tradition about the two ways: life and death. Both are always before us.

I think there is a fear of death in human beings. It is a driver in our lives, the choices we make, the priorities we establish. The problem is we often deal with that fear through substitute gratifications. We settle for relief rather than healing.

The degree to which we are afraid of death is also the degree to which we are afraid to truly live.

The paradox is that to live we must die. I think it is the Sufis who say, “Die before you die.” I think this is what Jesus was getting at when he said, “Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me.” It is the invitation to life, through union/thesis.

Living becomes an interior transformation which leaves us in the present moment. The present is the fullness of life, it is where the divine is located, it can become eternal. Too often we live in the past – “If only…,” regrets, wounds, resentment – or in a future we do not yet have. Both of those it seems to me are places of death.

God’s deepest longing is that we would live and live fully. St. Irenaeus said something like, “The glory of God is a many fully alive.”
I wonder sometimes if we have forgotten or confused what it is to be fully alive. I think there were be profound freedom in this – not autonomy to choose to do what every I want – but freedom to be, to be real, authentic, true – and in so doing to discover and know my own holiness and the original beauty of my creation. When we can see this in ourselves then we can see it in others.

Me:
I have to tell you that you have such a poignant and winsome way of writing. I feel the Silence, and the echo of your deep insights between your words.

There is both elegance but unsophisticated humbleness in your wording.

Yes, this is perfectly put:

Healing is Union with the Uncreated.

What is created is mostly under the supremacy of Fear. Hence, most people settle for relief, as, to reach Union you have to go through the hell of Separation, which means wrestling with Fear – an inhuman undertaking. Few – if any – have the courage to directly confront this daunting demon – as fear is a demon after all – take the battle, and not flee.

I love the way you put it:

“Too often we live in the past – `If only´…,”regrets, wounds, resentment – or in a future we do not yet have. Both of those it seems to me are places of death.”

Presence is well guarded by Fear.To come out alive from these places of Death requires great boldness and determination. To die before you die is the greatest challenge for anyone – that is, to give up the false ego. The ego is the outcome of Time, of Thought…indeed the “me” identity which is so treacherously opposed to God…- to who we really are…

I have these days won incredible battles. And these battles have taken place on these invisible levels – which are incredibly “real”. In fact, more real than the “real”. To give up the thought-made identity…I tell you… – it is not less than a heroic act of courage as I come to understand that Thought is the total antinomy of Life…Thought is the greatest barrier to know God, in fact, ultimately speaking, I see thinking as the worst disease invented by man, in order to defend himself from Life.

Thought, which is psychological Time, keeps us away from the Divine.

Thought can never be free. As long as we reinforce thinking, we choose thus to be unfree.

If we are to be real, authentic, true – and thus to discover and know our own holiness and the original beauty of creation, we have to give up “mine” – that is, the false “I-identity” which is built on thought! Thought is “my will” as radically opposed to the will of the Creator.

Thought breeds and perpetrates Separation.

First when we are relieved from the curse of thinking, can we see the purity in ourselves as well as in others.

Are we dying to live or living to die?

There is no solution unless we acknowledge the problem

T:
I believe the ‘offer’ made to us is more on the order of to-live-or-not-to-live than one of death avoidance. I think we have *learned* to ‘fear’ death, and that the only, real, natural solution is found in LIVING.

Humans seem to have a tendency to behave in ways that are contrary to the broader natural order. So there is nothing really ‘unnatural’ in that sense…about synthetics OR human behavior. I think that ‘anti-natural’ gets closer to what I am trying to express than ‘unnatural’.

Many parents in ‘developed’ societies nowadays have come to believe that their ‘job’ is done when their children reach majority ‘alive’ (as in not dead). But are those children really *alive*? Are the parents? Is the focus on death? Or life? It seems evident to me.

There is a big difference between (a) being aware of things that would interfere with living and (b) fearing death. Death is no less a transition in the Life Process than birth. Fearing ‘future’ death makes no more sense than fearing ‘past’ birth…or fearing every moment that we live. Thus I see fear as a perversion of awareness.

Are we dying to live or living to die?

Me:
The thought coming naturally to mind is:

Can we ever fully live unless we have learned to die now?

Is clinging to life living?

Is living according to any idea true living?

The perversion of awareness is actually OUR IDEA we hold about life. Whatever idea, stems ultimately from Fear. Thus Fear is the foundation of our unnatural or anti-natural “relation” to life.

Fear is consequently wrong relation to Life, cause fear exists only in relation to something.

The blatantly conspicuous reality is that everybody tries hardly to be someone. Instead of being alive they all try to be “special”. Being special is again, an inane wish to reinforce the idea – to live according to a thought.

They all “choose” to be, instead of simply being…that is, allowing the natural urge to unfold seamlessly inside and outside them. This demented hubris is man´s most dooming calamity:

“We are better and stronger than life. My resistance against anything living defines me. The more I fight and compete Life – the natural – the stronger I am.”

Such huge misconception lies at the base of our way of living.

And so the consequence is all this mad and senseless unfolding and escaping in the wrong thing: everybody is in the wrong place at the wrong time, pursuing the wrong activity, being constantly in the wrong context.

They usually marry the wrong person, they´re stuck in the wrong jobs, have the wrong friends…the list of wrongness is interminable. That is quite evident: the ones who are not supposed to be there, prevent the ones who are supposed to be where they belong.

To answer you question:

How can these insane people breed any sane and wholesome kids…?
Of course they can´t. How can the children be alive, when the parents
are diseased?…

This utterly defective life-style leads inevitably to misfortune, suffering and madness, and hence at some point, as a way out of this, man escapes his furious insanity through conflict and irrational violence, ultimately creating war…- war meaning, everybody fighting against his own misconceptions…man fighting against his and others´ false ideas.

So yes, that´s the key question:

Are we dying to live, or living to die?

With other words, are we going to stubbornly stick to these our obsolete and death-bringing Ideas and destroy the whole planet, or do we have now the awareness of the prompting necessity to renounce and let go of this calamitous hubris?

Shall we continue to behave or decide to live?

cdcgwencharles :
Most people have been programmed to behave as if there are absolutes. Religion, sex, politics, education have yin-yang shadows of absolutes. To live betwixt and between the light and dark is to re-consider life in the grey areas as a re-discovery of the soul’s grey matter. One must first suspend disbelief as the beginning to what if there is no death…Would we then continue to behave or decide to live?

Me:
This is a hard one:

“One must first suspend disbelief as the beginning to what if there is no death…”

It is hard, because everyone has to discover through direct, first-hand experience NOW,
whether there is, or there is not something “after” death.

“Suspending disbelief” for most people means “enhancing” disbelief and misconception.

Never confronting anything directly, people live a second-hand life, falling victims
of their
own stupid misconceptions – that´s why they go on “behaving”.

By fleeing death, man defends himself from life basically through all kind of mental
stratagems – this is his curse.

Only those who made the experience of Death know what life and living is about.

A death-worshipping society

Antonio:

“It is not that our institutions and centers of power are religious in nature that is problematic. It is that they belong to a variety of religion that is
death-worshiping and whose underlying aim is to destroy everything living.
And, that its aims are hidden from many of us and even from its practitioners.”

Me:
Really, I can see with greatest clarity this so insidious feature in human nature that no one else seems to heed, except you: this secret wish to die, this eery longing for individual and collective suicide. Try to tell them that…

It is blatantly obvious that this is the most dominant characteristic: humanity has become a bunch of death-worshippers. Nothing more or less. They do everything in order to choke life, to render every natural life expression impossible. I was born in Romania and lived under that demonic communist system for 18 years, before I defected to Sweden in 1981. But fact of the matter is that this satanic regime back in the ´80s,  was nothing compared to the difficulty of living in this today-world.

The pressure of this treacherous death is worse than all the coercive methods used in Communism. It´s everywhere. Before you knew that Ceausescu and his acolytes were the “bad guys”, nowadays everyone you meet is a potential enemy, because every man is his own and Life´s enemy. They are all methodically chasing anything alive…There is no place to go, nothing to do, you are literally strangled.

Our present Zeitgeist is a very sinister form of cannibalism. Humanity actually cannibalizing on its own body.

You and me see that…Who else wants to see…? No one…

Why do they so adamantly refuse any argument?…I think they all deep down know this, but would never admit facts…

I strongly recommend Antonio`s post:

Can we confront all the dead and dark aspects within ourselves?

blueangelwolf:
Can anything be made concrete and expressed in a creative way in a society that is, for the most part, asleep and unconscious of the deeper reality moving behind the scenes of day-to-day existence?

Me:
Most decidedly, for the dead, nothing holds any reality. Inner death is the antinomy of creativity.

Now, can I, can we transform ourselves so deeply and thoroughly as to awaken all the dormant and unconscious levels within?…Can we confront all the dead and dark aspects of ourselves?…Can we…?

Cause that is the most essential question:

Do we have the guts to look behind the insidious veils into the immemorial darkness within our soul, and burn away all generational dirt and impurity becoming so creatively alive, so true life can blossom??

What about that…?

Life is a threatening taboo as long as you fear death

For sure, this present age knows nothing about death, and as long as death is seen as something to be shunned, deliberately overlooked and dismissed, we will continue to live in fear, hollow superficiality and delusion.

As you all know, to live fearing death means not Living at all.

There is no real Freedom unless we examine what Death is about. Fear – in its general aspects, and above all, the fear of death – remains ominous as long as it remains a threatening taboo. Only when fear is confronted, can we start seeing the ever numinous aspect of Life.

When Fear is dispelled, Being shines in its original being-ness

Sue Dreamwalker says:

When we understand that there is no Death we will then not fear to die. To me when we take that final breath in this world and enter the next.. That to me is the greatest adventure…. as we explored this one with our senses… I hope we will learn much along this journey, to pack with us in our suitcase for the next one which lays in everyone’s next Venture!

Me:
Just to remind you this Sue:

The thorough understanding is about consciously dying moment by moment. That implies the realization of the secret of being whole and connected to everything there is NOW.

Every breath is both “initial” and “final” – I know it sounds scary, but so it is…When we say “along the journey” we kind of indulge again in delusion; a beautiful delusion though, but still delusion, ugly or beautiful, remains a delusion.

There is nothing to pack you see…nothing to take with us…Whatever we bear with us is only illusion…There is everything to let go of, the utter act of emptying ourselves completely in this very second, is The Thing. Not easy, I know…I still find myself being caught in deception many times.

First in that disrobed presence, when the witness and the witnessed dissolves, when there is no trace of “next experience”, of time perception or postponing, then and only then we may get to know DIRECTLY what is “behind the veil” of life and death.

There is no greater Venture than knowing this, in this very moment. There is nothing to know “along the journey”, there is no such thing as “next” left…
TRUTH IS WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE. With other words, “next” applies only when it comes to illusion. Awakening is the total interruption of linearity…

Where there is total interruption of time, linearity, and thought, in that immediate perception Fear ceases its existence…-and the dream of duality ends.
First when Fear is dispelled, Being shines in its original being-ness. And what is “left” then, is pure Knowing, knowing you, as You…:)

Says Rainer Maria Rilke

The only courage that is demanded of us, is the courage for the most strange, the most singular, the most inexplicable, that we may encounter. Mankind has in this sense been cowardly, has done life endless harm.

The experiences that are called visions, the whole so-called spirit world, death, all these things that are incredibly akin to us, have by daily paring been so crowded out of our life, that the senses with which we could have grasped them are atrophied, to say nothing of God.
