To love is to die

One must totally die to find what love is. And to go into this question of what is death, what lies beyond death, whether there is reincarnation, whether there is resurrection, you follow, all that, becomes rather meaningless if you don’ t know how to live. If the human being knows how to live in this world without conflict then death has quite a different meaning.
– J Krishnamurti

For sure:

Without death, no life. Without death, no love. Although we consider It the ultimate Evil, Death may be highest good. The secret door to renewal. I won’t say let’s die now – it may be too harsh on our Ego – I will simply say, let’s renew ourselves…

Neither Heraclitus, Plato or Socrates or whoever great man, can help and guide us through this tremendous undertaking: psychological Death. Each of us is on his own to find out.

Indeed…

Death: the cessation of direction, of memory, of thought, of ideal…

“Are you aware of the significance of your words here?” – he asked.

To die is an act of totality. Even “significance” has to go, if we are to take on this huge challenge.

Man´s worst fear, is the loss of his identity, which equates the loss of his ubiquitous “significance”…Significance – meaning belief, meaning psychological security…Nobody wants to risk and jeopardize the Supreme Sense we have built through Millennia…- the very Idea of who or what we think we are…

We do not therefore fear Death, but – of course – the cessation of our ideas and projections, about what we term as Life and Death…

As long as we take “Love” as an outcome of our all too human projection, we will neither live nor love.

Forget the ideal, and be aware of what you are

Like most people, you have ideals, have you not?

And the ideal is not real, not factual; it is what should be, it is something in the future.

Now, what I say is this: forget the ideal, and be aware of what you are. Do not pursue what should be, but understand what is. The understanding of what you actually are is far more important than the pursuit of what you should be.

Why?

Because, in understanding what you are, there begins a spontaneous process of transformation; whereas, in becoming what you think you should be, there is no
change at all, but only a continuation of the same old thing in a different form.

– Krishnamurti

Bliss is never the outcome of an ideal

Gabriela:
Indeed, we have created the ideal. But now it all depends on what Ideal means to each human being. I saw ideal as a goal, as a worthwhile higher aim to strive for. This however, does not deny each and everyone´s need for more.

Me:

Truth can never be an “ideal”, that is, it can never be “relativized” – though this is what we assume all the time: “it depends on what Ideal means to each human being”.

With other words, you claim that everyone is free and has the right to imagine anything.

Escaping Life, is manifested in myriad forms and expressions, but escaping – that is,
fear – remains one and the same for all.

I am not necessarily pointing here to factual reality – man needs food, shelter, etc. – but to the psychological state of things.
This inner need “for more” is ideal – can you lucidly see this?

The yearning for “more” – that is to acquire, to accumulate knowledge or money, to be someone, to have a name, to be or not to be something – implies escaping What is. This obsessive search for safety, which itself is generated by fear, is desire seeking fulfillment. Craving for “more” is Ego in its eternal discontent.

“More” is the derivative of dissatisfaction, isn´t it quite clear?

Just ponder:

You must for sure have had moments of great fulfillment, moments in which “more”
or “less” was superfluous. You weren´t searching anymore, as you were deeply satisfied.

You were Blissful in those moments of deep contentment. For sure, Bliss is Presence, presence which is a mighty Joy, an unwavering Peace.

This presence does not belong to becoming, projection or future. Becoming and achieving in time is subterfuge, it is escaping into our own image, never the truth – the Bliss – we are talking about.

Meaning, The Mirror of Now

What is this thing called Future?… It is hope, fear, expectation, doubt, uncertainty, frustration… In short, future is ideal and fear of ideal. Will it happen, will it not…?”, “what happens next?”, “what´s the next step, how shall I proceed with this or that?”

I won´t induce in philosophical speculation, I just wonder: What if future didn´t exist? What would happen if we took a healthy choice and eliminate “future” at least for a while…?

The consequence of this would be unimaginable: If there is no future there would be no ideal either. No ideal – no fear.

Yes, future means basically projection, doens´t it?…No future – no fear – no projection. What is projection? Projection means that we give ourselves away. We give our force away, our hopes, vitality, strength and fears to something uncertain basically.  What if we took home all projections, projecting them on this very moment…? For sure, we would retrieve ourselves in this very second…- we would start being real, being exactly how we are.

WE HAVE INVENTED THE FUTURE BECAUSE WE FEAR THIS MOMENT! Our fear to find out what or who we are, has become “future”. There is no future! Future is fear!

When we let go of the fear, future and projection, we begin to perceive Now in unfathomable ways – this present moment will start reveal a beauty, mystery and richness beyond measure. Every single thing will mean something. You will start having a right relation both to yourself and with things around you. You start perceiving YOUR INTRINSIC MEANING. Your immediate perception of your specific meaning is your greatest asset, your richness. You will find peace. Clarity. You will do less but achieve more.

Have you ever wondered why people are so greedy and poor inside always going around complaining?…Because their life usually is devoid of sense. They irretrievably look for meaning and fulfillment in the future… But Meaning never resides in the future…Only fear does…

We never live in the future, we live now, don´t we…? Only Now knows the secret of Our Meaning. Meaning means Fulfillment.

Yes, this is it.

The Thing I for so long yearned for, was actually happening under my very eyes. The feeling was  indescribable, as the Joy was twofold:

I was perceiving the actual fulfillment, but more important, in the same breath, I WAS REALIZING WHAT WAS KEEPING AWAY MY DREAMS TO COME TRUE:

Yes, in that moment All Ideals were dead. In order for my dream to come true, the Ideal must go.

I WAS WHAT I WAS, WITH NO INTERVAL BETWEEN ME AND MY DREAMS. I understood that I am always my dream – Now!!

Does it sound like oversimplifying?

I take it again with few more words:

Ideal is the interval between what is now, and “the-wished-for” reality. Ideal presupposes time, effort, conditioning, strife and un-freedom. It is always THE IDEAL which raises walls between You and the Actual fulfillment of (your) life and love.

The ones prepared to hear, will hear.

ONLY THIS VERY SECOND IS REAL

Everything else is literature.

Every story you are told is real insofar as you want it to be true. Stop giving away yourself letting others live and make profit on your yearning!

Take back your projections, your strength, your confidence! DON´T GIVE AWAY YOUR DREAMS AS YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOUR DREAMS!

YOU ARE THE IDEAL YOU ARE LOOKING FOR in others or in the world. Your only obligation to yourself is TO BE YOU !

You have the power to disassociate yourself from everything! You are free to be what you are… Whoever or whatever you are is fine!!

It can sound like a terrible platitude, but The Greatest Gift you can give yourself, is Accepting yourself NOW despite flaws and shortcomings. Acceptance is tuning in with your true Self .

You are the most important person in your life!

Imagine…everything is one breath away…

Life and you are the same:

A BOTTOMLESS WONDER , BEING CREATED THIS VERY SECOND !
