Happiness has no thought

Happiness has no “me”…

As long as you expect Happiness to be You,
It will unfailingly be elsewhere…

Happiness will never reveal its glowing glance to you

…unless
You take Joy
in seeing
the crack in the sidewalk,
the fleeing cloud
or
the timid smile of the stranger passing you by…

Take a break from yourself

…and do something for someone else, with no thought of personal gain.

It can be a smile, a compliment, a word, a mere amiable glance…it can make
a huge difference…

For a change, look closely around you and realize that we are all intertwined.

You are the other, you become enriched by knowing yourself in the contact with
your fellow-man.

I will illustrate my point:

I had an inner major break-through yesterday. Such an incredible sense of wellness and
relief within me: The “old me” was no longer there. I was feeling composed, empowered, free…as if floating, but entirely rooted in the present moment.

As I was sitting at a terrace sipping a coffee and writing, a guy stopped a couple of meters right in front of me. At first it was confusing… – I had never seen him before. A perfect stranger, properly dressed, with a very unusual charisma. He was gently smiling at me, vividly gesticulating, his eyes glowing with gratitude. He was obviously deaf. He was “talking” to me, although at first I was quite bewildered – he used sign language.

The “encounter” didn´t last more than few seconds. But as he quickly moved his hands, he was intimating:

“Thank you for your presence – you look so elegant, you spread wellness around you.
Whatever you write in your book reaches out to me. Thank you!”

He happily smiled again, bowed and vanished, as if this never happened.

Given that here in Stockholm where I live, no one ever says anything, I was simply overwhelmed… What an approval I had received.

Few magic seconds of shared joy!

Dare to unfold your talent!

It´s sad really…So many people with original talents have failed to vividly
express their special gift, due to comparing themselves to prevalent expectation
of what was “valid” or not.

Never compare yourself with anyone! Never try to please!
Don´t ever seek validation outwardly.

The only true validation, is your personal motivation and sense of
inner contentment you feel doing the right thing for you.

If you let your Joy validate you, outer validation will eventually come too!

Remember

Only The “Lost” can be found.

Only Thirsting Souls will find the well.

Only the most unspeakable pain can be replaced
by soothing and never-withering joy.

Let us play!

I wrote this post some time ago, but I thought I would re-post it as I find it meaningful.

As I nowadays have big issues with linear time, I kind of feel ageless, turning five each and every moment. It`s great and unbelievable.

I never realized before that life can be a discontinuously-continuous surprise each instant.

To my amazement, there is no such thing as boredom anymore. No worries left. Yes, it might sound like a perplexing way to put it, but instead of me “living”, I am sustained and “lived” by an Eternal state of surprise. Frustrations, resentments, disappointments, regrets and projections are dead. Loss is dead too. Even so my sense of shortage. Thought and fears have been replaced by a secretly simple but “all-encompassing” joy and gratefulness. This grateful Joy is so unobtrusively permeating every second, every breath is so real.

You can feel it, almost touch it, this Joy is so uncalculated and spontaneous, wise and unpredictable, so tempestuously creative.

It bursts into laughter and childish appreciation, but this inner mighty cheerfulness is so pervasively aware, empathic and lovable – it knows too what sorrow and hardship and suffering is about…

 So…

 Let´s play a while!

February 22nd – turning 5

Oh, if we could remind us to celebrate life…
If not every moment, but now and then
during the day…

Yes, a little more Joy.
A little more childish trust and
healthy naivety.

A little more simplicity, generosity
towards yourself,
and the ones you meet on your way…

We easily forget…

Far too often, we fall victims of our “human” shortages
resenting everything, indulging in sorrow, pain
and despondency,
in fruitless guilt and regret,
bitterly complaining, forgetting the sky inside
and above us,
yes, forgetting To Love.

To love is to dare feel Joy…the simple joy
of trusting and opening to Life.

The Joy of gratitude…

I feel this joy now, this gratitude of
sharing these very words together with you
through endless time and space.
