“Complication has supplanted accomplishment. Reaction has displaced action.
Acting – that is, pretending – has kicked expressing in the ass. Doing has driven being underground.

Here’s the usually-unspoken-but-clearly-seen mantra:

I am worried to death, so I must be important. Even though I don’t know ME, I want to control YOU, therefore I matter. Worth is determined by work and struggle, so I am very worthy. In this blunt economy “easy” equals shit.
